FIRE AND WIND REVIVAL

Come hungry. Leave burning. Be the wind-carried flame.

 Serve with Zeal

“Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.” — Romans 12:11 (ESV)

The Christian life is not meant to be lukewarm. Paul’s charge is clear: don’t grow lazy or indifferent in your devotion—be fervent, burning with spiritual passion, as you serve the Lord.

Zeal is not mere enthusiasm—it is a Spirit-empowered fire that fuels faithful obedience, especially when the path is long or hard. It’s the difference between going through the motions and serving with joy, purpose, and love for Christ. Sloth, by contrast, slowly erodes our desire to serve and weakens our witness.

Serving the Lord isn’t reserved for grand acts or public ministry. Every task done for Him—whether seen or unseen, simple or sacrificial—is holy. When we serve with fervor, we reflect the heart of Jesus, who was tireless in His mission and unwavering in His love.

To stay fervent, we must stay connected to the Source. As we abide in Christ, His Spirit rekindles our zeal, reminds us of our calling, and strengthens us for every good work.

Reflection:
Where have you grown weary or slothful in your service to the Lord? What might it look like to renew your zeal and serve with fresh passion today?

Prayer:
Lord, forgive me when I’ve served You with a cold heart or half-hearted effort. Ignite in me a fresh fire to serve You with zeal and joy. Strengthen me by Your Spirit to do all things for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
