In a world constantly shifting—where headlines stir fear and circumstances often unravel—Scripture calls us to an unshakable grip on hope. But this is not a vague, wishful kind of hope. It is rooted in “the confession”—our bold declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, crucified, risen, and reigning.
To “hold fast” suggests struggle. There will be pressure to let go, to compromise, to drift. Yet we are urged to remain steadfast, “without wavering,” not because of our own strength, but because of God’s unwavering character. The anchor of our hope is not our ability to believe but the faithfulness of the One who promised.
God does not lie (Titus 1:2). Every promise He makes is yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). When He declares that our sins are forgiven, they are. When He promises eternal life, it is ours. When He says He will never leave us, we can count on His presence—even in silence or suffering.
Are you weary in your faith today? Do doubts press in? Return to the promise-keeping God. Rehearse His Word. Remember His faithfulness. And hold tight—not with fear, but with confidence—because the One who spoke is eternally trustworthy.

Father, thank You that my hope is not built on shifting sand but on Your unchanging Word. Help me hold fast to Jesus today, especially when I feel weak. Remind me that You are faithful, and nothing can separate me from Your love. Amen.
